Water Bodies

People enjoy anything to do with water! Swimming in the pool, surfing at the beach, jumping in to a super cold spring, and last but not least hanging out on the boat on a beautiful lake! Even though we love anything to do with boating, just being out in the water and enjoying the outdoors is something we at Regal and Nautique hope everyone will fall in love with. But, not everyone knows where all of the best spots are in Orlando! Here are a few of our favorites.

Lake Toho.
At 42 miles in diameter, Lake Toho is one of Florida’s largest lakes and is known as one of the best fishing places in Florida. Lake Toho also has RV/camping sites all around it. Great for the family or just a relaxing day out on the lake!

Clermont Chain of Lakes.
The Clermont chain of lakes is one of Florida’s most recreational polished lake systems. For water sports enthusiasts, the Clermont Lakes are the place to be. Clermont is known as the “wakeboarding capital of the world.” These tea-colored, spring fed lakes are always a pleasing temperature to enjoy in blistering Florida summers.

Wekiwa Springs.
Wekiwa Springs is the perfect spot to enjoy a hot summer day with its water staying at 72 degrees year round! There are so many family friendly activities to engage in ranging from canoeing or kayaking up and down stream, or jumping in at Wekiwa Island where you can also rent a few paddle boards and see just how good your balance is!

DeLeon Springs.
DeLeon Spring is famous for its DIY pancake house, The Old Spanish Sugar Mill. Think fast and start planning for an early trip because the lines for the restaurant begin early! DeLeon Springs is a safe, refreshing clear spring staying at 72 degrees year round. With activities such as swimming, hiking on a few of its trails, renting a canoe, etc. Not to mention the free boat ramp, with dock, can accommodate boats up to about 20 feet, with the St. Johns River a distance of about 10 miles.
